Upcoming Events

Get Connected is one of the SJPAC annual events that is held in San Joaquin County.  This annual Small Business Exposition connects small businesses with Local, State, and Federal resources.  Dozens of State and Local Agencies and Public Utilities participate to network and provide business opportunities.  Workshops are presented on various topics including:

  • State and Federal Certifications
  • How to find, bid and win contracts
  • How to increase your changes for success in contracting and purchasing

The program objectives are to recruit and encourage certification of small, emerging and local businesses, foster regional economic development and to hold informational sessions on business contracting opportunities.


Certifications Workshops

Our vision is to promote diversity for small businesses that provide commodities and services.  The SJPAC assists businesses in acquiring proper governmental certifications at our local partners’ facilities.  Members of the SJPAC periodically provide certification workshops to help small businesses become certified.

Interactive Panel Discussions

“Public Works & Purchasing Showcase” is the theme of the SJPAC annual panel discussions.  This allows small businesses an opportunity to ask state, local agencies and utilities how they can bid on and win contracts and pursue purchasing opportunities.
